Paul O. Kyle

My Name is Paul Kyle. I am currently a candidate for the Stagecoach General Improvement District Board of Trustees. Here’s a little bit about myself.

I have been in Stagecoach on and off since 1979; I graduated from Dayton High School, was a former trustee of the Stagecoach GID from 1998 to 2001, have also been on other local not-for-profit boards, Also was an integral part of the first Stagecoach Master Plan Committee, which I still have a digital copy of if anyone is interested. Also, I was on the board of the Carson Board of Realtors.

And just a little about my education: I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration in management, a master’s in business administration, and a master of science degree in information technology with an emphasis in business analysis.

I have been very committed to the community of stagecoach and our rural atmosphere that we all enjoy.

Some of the concerns that I see with our community and how they relate to the GID are growth. We have always experienced some kind of growth over the years.

With growth, we have to consider our current infrastructure. The new subdivision will have new infrastructure, but this will also put a strain on our current infrastructure. We have to plan for this and work accordingly to make this a smooth transition.  

This leads us to plan, have a vision for this plan, and consider how these items will affect the entire water system and community.

This also leads to fiscal responsibility. I believe that the district has been doing a good job with this, but we will continue to face challenges over the next few years, such as the higher cost of materials, labor, construction, and many other items that may arise.

As a small business owner and contractor, I deal with some of these items daily. The GID has two types of infrastructure: the water system and the De-Nyte system. I deeply understand both of these, especially the De-Nyte systems, what is involved with them, and how they work. With new technologies emerging, we must find more efficient systems and assist the local community in their options.

With my experience and educational background, I have much to offer to the district and the community.
